Library Rules & Regulations

• Every person stepping into the library should register their attendance with the Bar code Attendance System or with the Manual Register.
• No personal belongings except purses and notebooks will be allowed to be carried to the Reading Room.
• Pets such as dogs, cats are not allowed inside the library.
• Readers should maintain silence in the library premises.
• Students and teachers are allowed to borrow two and four books respectively at a time for 15 days and for 90 days.
• Books are issued for 15 days only. A fine of Re. 2/- per day will be charged as per rules of the library.
• No books will be re-issued except when presented physically.
• The library will remain open to the reader on all working days except holidays from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
• The readers should behave in a civilised manner.
• The readers are liable for punishment and fine for any damage made to the books or any other property of the library.
